Couples and medical tests

For those who are part of a couple, when you have a major or minor medical test or procedure do you involve your other half?

Is there a line between minor/major?

I go to my hubbys procedure (since he asked), but I prefer to go it alone for mine. Not that I had any major ones.

I usually go with Jay to most appointments because of her anxiety.

I generally go on my own. If it's ever a blood test I'd probably go with Jay though, I'm a huge wuss when it comes to blood vessels.
