USA To AU Export Eye Catching Diesel Loco Pix

On a test track in Texas before shipping. ID caption says there are 5 ordered but not whether they all have the same design. Will be interesting to see the AU general public's reaction to the color scheme--subdued it ain't.

News to me, where is it destined? I'd suspect one of the mines. We hardly use trains for freight any more. Not "economical" so they tell us.

Were they ordered by some LGBT organisation?

What about The Ghan, Leigh? I thought that carried quite a wodge of freight, still. I'd love to travel up front, for that trip, I really would. I'd even make a TV show out of it, except Tarrant beat me to it. :P
