120-year cooling cycle predicted for Earth's climate

A few things to consider:

1 If cooling effects of the solar cycle and planetary position would normally be leading to cooler temperatures, it could be helpful to burn more fuel, simply for the sake of the heat released, to counterbalance the cooling cycle.

2 Global dimming (less sunlight reaching the earth's surface because of particles in the atmosphere) has been measured. I've read remarks by a person who believes in man-made global warming who thinks that the dimming has made global warming less severe. If the solar cycle was going to lead to a colder climate trend starting in 2019, the dimming would result in greater cold that would otherwise be experienced.

The article on the same page about cold this winter in Britain is a mismatch to the rest of the article, if the solar cycle effects do not begin until 2019.
