Dad's laptop

My dad is 80.
I was calling my mum today, and she said dad's laptop got locked, and won't open. Can I come over and have a look at it?

I said does it not start? And she said the lid got locked and won't open.

I said, there's no lock on his laptop, it's probably facing the wrong way. Try opening from the other end.
Mum said, no, it is facing the right way, but I insisted.

Ofcourse it opened:D
Yes, I have tried opening from the wrong side many times, but...:D
It's partly the fault of the manufacturers. The logos face the wrong way when closedwaggyfinger

That has happened to me because I have bought so many different brands and use laptops at work located in different teaching rooms. After the first time, you never get caught out again. :D
