How They Play Their "Games"!!!!

How They Play Their "Games"!!!!

FYI: the Android OS, code name Marshmallow, is the latest OS version.

From today's (02/16/16) CNET.com article.

.....Android is the most widely used phone software, but for many customers, the version that comes with their phone is the only one they'll see. That means they won't see new features until they buy a new phone and that developers don't have as much incentive to rapidly retool their apps to take advantage of new features. As of the beginning of this month, Marshmallow was on less than 1.2 percent of all Android devices.....

And I've always believed that their was no more greedy a corporation than MS; I will have to revise that.

Seriously, how many people update their OS regularly. They are no different to M$ or the bit of fruit. Those who do update their OS regularly, probably have a jailbroken phone anyway.

The way things have gone, I've never been overly keen to update. I know a lot of people have a kind of "Must have the latest thing" mentality. But, having been burned, a few times, I let others find all the fukkups, first.

If they ever sort W10 out, properly, I might switch.

Having said that, I'm sure my tablet updated Android, a while back. Maybe it was an in-version one.
