Are British teachers really this slow?????

Muslim boy, 10, questioned by police after mistakenly writing he lived in 'terrorist' house. You'd think that the context of the essay he wrote would give some hint as to the erroneous use of the word.

Damned if they do, damned if they don't.

If I suspect that someone has been radicalised, or is engaging in underage sex or is being racist or is... I have a legal contract which compels me to pass that on to the HT who then takes the decision whether to pass concerns on to Social Work, NHS and/or Police. The press have a field day when it goes wrong either way round.

You presume there was a context but possibly it was a fill in the blank - I live in a * house. (white, brick, wood...)

Are we sure this is real? Sounds like a joke to me. And not a bad one at that.
