For anybodys help

I keep getting the following message when doing various things 'To help protect your computer, Data Execution Prevention has closed Windows Host Process (RunDll32)'

What is happening?

I kept getting that after I installed Norton. My son kept insisting it was a hardware problem - and indeed, it does suggest removing any recently added hardware - but I think its a software clash. Try doing a registry check or look in your device monitor for clashes.
