Glenn Beck urges non-violence pledge

Glenn Beck has a radio show and a TV show five days per week. He is a Libertarian (more conservative than Republicans, advocating a minimalist government). He is known for getting emotional, and for directing attention to important issues which the dinosaur broadcast media previously ignored.

Here, he urges conservatives (such as in the Tea Party movement) to sign a pledge of non-violence, the same as Dr. Martin Luther King enjoined for his followers.

Would you read it, and tell me what you think?

Well, at least he recognises other religions, so he's not as bigoted as some people.

As you prepare to march, meditate on the life and teachings of Jesus. If it's Buddha, it's Buddha. If it's Moses, it's Moses. But meditate. Understand the peace that these people brought. Understand. Jesus, he's my guy. Your guy might be different.
