Any idea how to do @ symbol on a dell.

My niece has a Dell inspiron mini notebook, unfortunately the @ symbol is on the keyboard but dosn't work.
Is there a way of reproducing it apart from c+p?

Any ideas would be very helpful .

Make sure the keyboard is set to UK and not US, US put another symbol there.

Check under control panel - regional settings (or whatever it's called).

Tried shift 2? On US keyboards @ and " are other way around I think.
