I LOVE this Town (Apologies to Toby)

[bad img]http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a224/redwolf5150/CourthouseatSunset.gif[/bad img]

The historic Lincoln County Courthouse taken April 14, 2009.

I had just got done covering the Merrill Common (City) Council and walked out of City Hall chatting with the mayor when we both saw the courthouse lit by the setting sun over our shoulders.

He said "That's beautiful" just as I raised the camera to my eye.

In a nutshell, that's what I do, be the eyes for my community.

And Merrill has become my community after almost five years.

Funny I ran away from a town slightly larger than Merrill 30+ years ago now I've come to adopt a town that's smaller as my home.

And here I am writing a love note to my adopted town on an Internet message board based in England.

Small world Indeed!

I know how you feel RW. I moved out of the city of Adelaide to a big country town when I was 19, from there I moved back to a smaller country town near Adelaide, and only lasted 12 months there before settling in a town that boasts a population of 800 odd people, some are very odd!
