Detailed accounts of TV episodes

Is everyone here familiar with the fact that detailed accounts of television episodes are available on the internet?

Last week, I had my converter box set to the channel which carries "House" and "24," while my VCR was set to record from the converter. I was in another location entirely, watching "Heroes" on someone else's TV. In my absence, my son came into my room and switched to the channel he preferred to watch, with the result that the VCR recorded his show, not mine! rant0001

So, I went to the internet and found this detailed account of the program I missed.

This is the page with the comprehensive list.

Obviously, reading the summary misses most of the enjoyment of the show--the acting, the action effects (fights, gunfire, explosions), the dialogue--but, it goes a long way toward filling in the plot developments which were missed, so that one can continue with the next installment.:)

If I do not want someone changing the channel whilst recording I generally hide the remotes (not advisable in your situation Scholar, you may never find them again) or stick a great big notice on the screen saying - "Do not touch!"
