To have punishment which exactly matches the evil which has been inflicted is precise justice.
This idea is also found in the New Testament. In speaking of the Great Prostitute, Revelation 18:5-6
"for her sins are heaped high as heaven,
and God has remembered her iniquities.
Pay her back as she herself has paid back others,
and repay her double for her deeds;
mix a double portion for her in the cup she mixed."
This passage was originally written in Greek, but follows Hebrew poetic parallelism. To pay her back as she has paid back others is the same as
repaying her double for her deeds--the payment for the evil is the double, the twin, of the evil she has done to others. But, against her, it will be
justice for the wrong she has done.
