laptop to bbox

hi guys
i have an xbox that i use to store and view my films and tv programs on and i load the media onto it through ftp. this method is very hit and miss as i can load some things and not others.
so i bought a crossover ethernet cable thinking i could just connect, had-hok, to the xbox, wrong.
can anyone advise my if there are any tutorials or links that explain how to ommunicat between my laptop and xbox so that i can just drag the files over instead of ftping them

This may be what you are looking for.
Your software, Kourosh would be suitable for PC to PC transfer, but not PC to X-Box.

If the first link does not help, try This one.
