Teaching your child to floss

Liv Tyler tells how her father, Steven Tyler (of Aerosmith) taught her to floss her teeth. He took her into the bathroom and helped her floss one time. With the operation complete, he told her, "Now, smell it." She held the used floss right up to her nose (you know how bad it smells?) and sniffed.

She says that, from then on, she has flossed EVERY DAY. :D

Good teaching! :clap) :clap) :clap)

Um, eww. My son would vomit if I made him smell it. Heck, he'd vomit if I tried to floss his teeth.

One thing may help my to get my son to floss. He lost his first tooth yesterday and I noticed a brown spot on it. It looks like the beginning of a cavity. So, I told him that it's a cavity and that he needs to floss so that he doesn't get any more cavities.

We will see if that works.

By the way, Tom Hamilton (of Aerosmith) adopted the baby that my brother and his girlfriend had many years ago. It's strange to think that my blood nephew is being raised by a semi famous person. (my brother and his girlfriend actually got taken out to eat by the Hamiltons while in CA)

I use dental floss every so often, then I swish around some listerine and spit it all out.

It usually hits the sink ;);)
