How can I hide a webpage?

I'm currently building a website for my local amateur dramatics group and they have asked me to put the minutes of their meetings up on the site but in such a way that only members can access it.

Is their a simple way to do this? It doesn't have to be totally secure (I know, nothing is) but just so that a casual visitor to the site can't get to it.

Then name the page an obscure name and make it only accessable via a password thingy - the password being the page name.

They wont make it ultimately safe from spiders and robots but it should be good enough.

See this example in my test site:-

Try page2 as the password

If you're not worried about security and just want to avoid people bumping into it by accident, just pop it in a folder with a blank index.

..site/folder/index.htm (blank page)
..site/folder/hidden.htm (whatever)

Then only people who know the page address can go to the file.

You can password protect the folder with a htaccess file if needed.
