New Zealand v England

An interesting days play with both sides about even, although I think the Kiwis will be a little disappointed with losing so many well set batsmen on this rather friendly wicket. But some fine innings none-the-less, specifically How's 92 and McCullum's 51 of 55 balls.
Of the bowlers Sidebottom bowled well, but Hoggard and Harmison were more than a little wayward.
Some good catches taken but I'm not sure the captain set the field well enough to stop runs being taken.

Not a bad first day.
