You could try the Norton Removal Tool available Here On Their Site (Direct download)

Or, try re-installing the old product, and then use the Removal Tool.

Or finally, do it manually. Search for, and delete all folders named Symantec and/or Norton. (Make sure you show "Hidden Files" in Folder Options) And then use RegSeeker to clean the Registry of any leftover traces, by again searching for Norton and/or Symantec...

I screwed up and used Norton's on my old machine. I went to take it off later and had a dickins of a time. Finally gave up as I couldn't get rid of all the components.

That's not a mistake I repeated on my new one.

Trend all the way!
