At around 1 1/2 inches long, he's got some growing to do to get to the size Spot was when he died. This photo is like twice life size, BTW.

This was intentional as I didn't want another fish that looked like Spot. Spot was a unique fish and I didn't want anything messing with his
Anyway, Spike will be living in the 10-gallon tank for six months or so until he is a lot bigger before he moves into the 90-gallon. The Blood Parrots
and even Gizmo, our green spotted puffer fish, would probably mess with and maybe even kill him if we put him in right now.
