Is it a tat or photo shop ????? wonder if that was the final score roffle

It could easily have been if recent matches were anything to go by. This particular score was Italy 20-21 Scotland.

I think it's real.

Steve Walsh was an alcoholic and was sacked by the New Zealand Rugby Football Union. He eventually got himself together and was employed the Australian Rugby Football Union and has gone on to be a very successful referee. He also won the Referee of the year award in 2012.

Why would an Italian have a tat in ENGLISH on his arm :D

He may have had Italian heritage, but, if he is like most spicks and wogs, he's true blue now!

He's from New Zealand but does a lot of work refereeing international Rugby matches. An Italian wouldn't have been allowed to referee an Italy/Scotland match.

As to your terminology Leigh - Italian is what we would say in the UK. I think it brings the board into disrepute when one of the moderators uses those terms.

It was a tongue in cheek comment, mary, we have tended to be less than politically correct down here for the last couple of hundred years. It matters not from whence you came, as long as you can give as good as you get, and take a little ribbing, any Ozzie'd have a beer with you.

Just to make you happy, "He may have had Italian heritage, but, if he is like most Greeks and Italians, he's a Convict now!"

Does the name "Steve Walsh" sound Italian to you?
