Amazon Prime Air Drone Home Delivery Demo Video

Amazon Prime Air Drone Home Delivery Demo Video

The sales pitch for these drones, like the driverless car pitch, is beginning to reach crescendo proportions.

It's about 2 min long.

There are a bunch more on YouTube re the Amazon drones.

When they start falling from the sky, how much difficulty do you think that they will have to 'convince' a govt that the tech is inevitable, etc., not to mention pointing out the number of jobs the tech creates, etc.,?

The tech cannot always (perfectly) compensate for mother nature, i. e., wind, clear air turbulance, etc., never mind that anything/everything mechanical sooner or later fails (as in falls from the sky type of fail--on top of you maybe).

It's time to let you govt know that you're opposed to the unnecessary risks. As the video shows, so the family dog chews up the young girl's soccer game shoes; so is it really the end of the world if she has to sit out the game?

It'll only work if you have a nice enclosed garden, but I'm very interested:)
I assume they'll only use it for low value items at the beginning.

I wonder just how many drones it will take to realise that "lost in the mail" is going to become a shout instead of a dull roar. In theory, it is good, but, in practice......
