Do people today really believe in Adam and Eve in a biblical sense it just don't ring true to me

Well, you'd have to believe we're even more inbred than my Kentucky in-laws, for starters.

Who makes you have to believe Redwolf what happened to freedom of thought and choice? and what are the consequence of not believing ?

Surely the first people were Adam and Lilith anyway - Eve came much later !

Depends which source you use. She doesn't appear till about the 8th C I think. I can certainly understand why a female who refuses to be subservient
is a good character to have in the myth but she's not originally there afaik.

Adam an Eve in the garden lived
and were so awfully jolly.
What happened in the winter time
when there was nowt to wear but holly

Who cares whether you believe or not, it is still a clever sign.
