Discover France On Line (Video + Stills)
IntrepBerkExplor - 1-4-2008 at 18:42

My recent film “Napoleon Slept Here” takes you all around France, beginning and ending in Paris, with Notre Dame Cathedral, the Pompidou Center, Eiffel Tower, Napoleon’s Tomb, Sainte-Chapelle’s stained glass & the City of Lights at night; plus Nimes with its Roman Arena and Temple, the walled city of Carcassonne, Lourdes, the Palace of Chenonceau, a peek at the Bayeux Tapestry, and much more.

This is a free, non-commercial, streaming video on the Windows Media Player. No ads and no strings attached. I sell absolutely nothing. All you need is a high speed internet connection.

My video site is:

The gallery of French still pictures can be viewed with any modem at:

There are over 30 of my other amateur travel videos on-line. Visit Italy, England, Antarctica, Bali, Australia, China, Russia, Florida, Mayan Pyramids, Kenya, Hawaii, Greece, American National Parks, or Turkey; see elephants, whales, penguins, or polar bears.

The planet is yours, including my Home Page giant galaxy of still pictures at:

It's good to see you again!;)

For our newer members, Intrepid Berkeley Explorer is a traveling photography/video specialist. His history with us goes back to before the last pruning, so he has contributed more than one might guess from his small number of postings.

His participation here has been very focused, always excellent in quality, and I'm glad he remembers us when his projects are available.

Thank you, Intrepid. doffs_cap

Concise description of our Intrepid, roving reporter, Scholar. Welcome back IBE, where are you off to next? Am I ever likely to see you "Down Under"?

Hi, scholar and LSemmens,

It's always refreshing to participate in such a friendly forum.

Next month I am going to Sicily and Malta. Looking for the Maltese Falcon may prove futile, and I'm unsure if on-camera Mafia jokes will get me in trouble on Sicily.

Going to find out.
