ok heres a odd thing, i have two laptops, 1 note pad and a toshiba i purchace a new toshiba charger which also fits the notepad how ever when the charger is pluged in it stops the mouse pad click button from working. this happens on both of the devices. any idea? i found this out when it happened on the laptop, i tryed the note pad which also needed charging and the same happens.. when the charger is removed the click buttons work...confused2

Something to do with the earth, I suspect. It is the right polarity, isn't it?

yeah its the right everything lol checked with my old one it's the same charger for both it's really odd

Have you checked your power settings? The touchpad might be set to turn off when the laptop is plugged into an active power source.
