sorry if this is the wrong forum to post this question in but i have this olympus digi camera which on my old xp computer i used to be able to watch the videos i film using real player. but since i changed to vista, i can't play my videos anymore. i was advised to download gom player which was meant to play any video file, but even that didn't work. i really don't know what to do really. real player should play them on vista as well as xp, but apparently it ain;t working.
Try going to the Olympus website and seeing if they have an updated driver for Hissssssssssta.
What is the file format that your camera saves the video in? If you can do a "save as" and save as them as a more generic video format, that might help, too.
Welcome to the board, BTW.
Download Real Alternative 1.90 by
clicking here (Real Player without the junk.)
Or, if you want an all round media player, then Download VLC here
Both good suggestions, Daz, welcome Lillypop. Most of us are normal around here, as for the forum, this is as good as any, for that question.
Thankyou for your suggestions folks. i shall give them a go tomorrow and let you know how i get on. This is a nice forum btw. Lucky i found it.
i agree with redwolf, you have to download the digi camera driver for vista then you will be able to use your camera. but will you be able to play those that you saved on your window xp, i suppose you should. at least give it a try
