It revolved around the smashing of Margaret Thatcher statues. The BBC must have taken great pleasure in the special fx.
Can't stand that Benedict Cumberband at all - only two real 'Sherlocks' - Basil Rathbone and Jeremy Brett
I disagree Nim. I have appreciated every version of Holmes from the traditional to the modern. Every incarnation brings something new. Some, like Hugh Laurie's House don't even make the connections obvious by using the same name but most use the same forensic analysis of small details to do the big reveal at the denouement.
I'm with you there, Mary. Not that I watch much TV, but the modern episodes of Sherlock, whilst not the literary masterpieces of the the original, do tend to follow the genre rather well. I agree, that House isn't too bad either, not that I have seen any more of that than I have Sherlock.
I preferred his brother, Chub.
Is that the one that went to Yale
Oh oh. This could be the start of something........
Nah! That was Lockwood.
We could turn it into a song if we could agree on a key.
