Greetings good folk, been a long time away
Good to see the regulars are still active and keeping up the good work.
Having found you again I will endeavor to become a bit more regular with my visits.
Not much to tell, now in my 80th year and unfortunatly in the early stages of Parkinson desease, no real problem atm just the odd termor to deal with, next hospital visit is in August.
see what they have to say.
Glad you found us again.
Sorry to hear you've had that diagnosis but good to know there are few effects so far.
Great to see you back
Sorry to hear about Parkinsons, but glad it's not affecting you too much.
Good to see you back again, Topcat. My cousin was diagnosed with Parkinsons just after Christmas - they have put her on the same medication that they give to people with Restless Legs Syndrome and it seems to be working quite well.
I had been missing you. (Top Cat worked with me, at length, in getting two computer systems established. At the time, they were my best two
machines. They were Win98SE and WinMe, before I got my present XP Pro machine.)
Based on my years of visiting in hospitals, I expect that a firm diagnosis is something of a relief to you. Of the people I've seen, the ones who felt the most distress were those who didn't know what was causing their problems, and so didn't know what to expect. There was a dread, "What will come next? I have no idea."
So, congratulations on having some idea of what to expect, and of your treatment and management options.
I, too, suffered from Restless Leg, but it was as a result of one of the meds that I was taking, changed the med and it is all fine again. I'm sorry to hear of your diagnosis, TC, but am glad to see you back "home" (here) again. Come on into the late night club and stick your feet up (we'll tie them down if necessary LOL),
Great to see you back with us
