It's no use trying to hide the facts from GPO John, Nim, he used to be a union rep. :)

Not only that, he was also a member of the GPO bog wall poets society, allegedly.

I am not a moderator anywhere, JL, and, no , I had not heard about Bombadil. That is so sad - he wrote some amazing stuff !

Only found out the other day that Jim "Bombadil" has died after a long illness. I first bumped into him on a Scottish Forum called Lookabootye; although he seems to have joined a number of forums in his time - here for instance.

When I googled for news about him after a tip off elsewhere, I discovered a few tributes on a poetry forum that you moderate, I believe, Nim.
