I've seen 3 amigos and Galaxy Quest, but I doubt that I'll go looking for it. If it's on TV on night, maybe I'll lok at it, maybe not.

It sounds rather predictable but I like comedy and enjoyed the Three Amigos and Galaxy Quest so would probably enjoy it although I wound't normally watch monster films.

Do we have fans of actor Bruce Campbell here? (Most famous for his Evil Dead movies, including the Army of Darkness sequel, but he has been in many, many others as well.)

I just heard him say that in his newest movie, a town is being menaced by a monster, and the townspeople decide the best way to handle it is to get Bruce Campbell to come to be their hero against the monster. (The radio host said it sounds like Galaxyquest--but on a monster theme, instead of sci-fi.)

As I think about it, The Three Amigos was similar, and so was Fright Night, so the idea is well-worn. Still, I like Bruce Campbell's work, and am looking forward to seeing this.

What do you think? Do you like humor mixed in with monster themes?smokin:
