It is the nickname of the Newcastle United Football team, Scholar, as they play in black/white striped shirts.

I am glad you liked my efforts - I am taking it to the hospital tonight.

Did you like the parchment Christmas tree as well, or have you not looked at that one?

Still under siege - I decided to make a card for my friend's husband - a delightful Jordie (and ardent Newcastle United supporter), who is currently in hospital waiting for by-pass surgery !
