Indeed, I have. But, then, I've played with permissions, ownership and things a LOT, over the years. Basically, so that I can do things that M$ don't want me to do. Things like simply removing cursors from the Windows directory, to free-up space, and the like, need you to take ownership. **Rolls eyes**

Basically, create the files, write protect them and make sure you own them, so that the system and other things can't overwrite them.
