Could be worth a shot. She only uses yahoo webmail. Will check her deleted box next time she's on - currently absorbed with Lord Sugarplum!

What e-mail client does she use, Crikes?

It may have a kinda recycle bin, as Opera does.

I got that today as well. It went straight into the trash.

Mrs C got an email from amazon.com in her yahoo webmail. It said it was confirming cancellation of her order for a book, and giving a numerical link in blue for her to check the order. There were 2 other button links with no explanation in this email - yahoo's WOT alerted her, giving a red warning against each of the 3 links. In any case, she never orders from Amazon herself - we always do it through my account at amazon uk -so she was doubly suspicious, and deleted it without further ado.

This seems another one of those innocuous-looking scams which rely on the simple pretext of raising someone's curiosity just enough to persuade them to try one or other of the links, leading to who knows what. Unfortunately, I didn't think until too late that I could have got her to forward it to me, and I could have sent it to amazon.
