I'm intolerant to fruit, as I may have mentioned, before. Even the thought of eating it makes me shiver. shocked_yellow

Only if it's forbidden, and you don't get caught....

And fruit's supposed to do you good...

I thought whenever God looked they were covered in fig leaves.

We never had problems. However, we will get offended if someone suggests that a mother use a rest room to feed a child. You wouldn't want to eat in a toilet, so why should a baby? SWMBO always fed in church and if anyone ever got offended they got a lecture from the pastor and we only occasionally found out about it some time well after the event.

That'll be too many years of page 3.

Breasts are my favourite things. However, when they're used for feeding, I see them in an entirely different way.

It shouldn't even be an issue. I don't know how it came about historically or culturally, but sexualisation of womens' breasts seems ingrained in western society and something that is hard to shake off. But shake it off is what needs to be done. Its what humans ought to be doing and its the artificial milk companies that ought to be taboo rather than feeding mothers. What a crazy world we've built for ourselves.!

Pope Francis encouraged women attending a ceremony in the Sistine Chapel on Sunday to feel free to breastfeed their children in the church.
"The ceremony is a little long, someone's crying because he's hungry. That's the way it is," the pontiff said.
"You mothers, go ahead and breastfeed, without fear. Just like the Virgin Mary nursed Jesus," he told worshippers attending an annual ceremony commemorating the baptism of Jesus.
The Argentine pope on Sunday baptised 28 children -- 15 boys and 13 girls.

As someone said, there are enough Catholic paintings of Mary doing the same thing to show it is meant to be acceptable and natural and that God had become wholly human.
