I can well understand the article. Each mother is different, some would be as described, others, however, would be nearer to Nimuae's concept. BTW, Nim, have you ever experienced parenthood?

Perhaps it depends on the mother and baby.

Some people get post-natal depressions, and some get really attached to their babies.

Some mothers get so attached, they don't like people including their husbands touching their baby:o

Sorry, Scholar, No - I cannot agree with the article. I think it is way OTT. Yes, birth is a little miracle. Yes, babies bring responsibilities.
Yes, they also bring love. But addictive? No way.

Although I don't have a child, I can relate to that to when I bought my first PC. Couldn't wait to go back home, and when I was out, PC was never out of my mind, and seeing PCs at offices and shops made me want to be with my PC 24/7:P

Surely it's same with men?:D
