I saw that in the news a few days ago. What struck me was that they were communicating with one another rather than their owner. There is a jovial picture of a robot serving sausage rolls at Greg's in the papers today. Much as it might seem cute, the only jobs soon will be the high end programmer/engineer ones. It is impossible that everyone can train to do those so, who will still be earning to actually buy the products being manufactured unless we do move towards a tramp's wage/gig economy?
