Here is where the case stands.
I had not realized the one accused of the murder was so badly burned.

I prefer to post something like this that mentions the city down past the public viewing area, in the posts which only KF members can see.

The first version of the story that I heard was that a child nephew's mother was killed. But, when Ruby checked with another of her brothers, she learned it was a sister of the nephew.

Erica Jones was strangled to death, and her body was taken to a house which was noticed to be on fire. Medical examiners were able to determine that she was already dead, by strangulation, before the fire.

Her sister, Deborah, is mother to my nephew. His father is a brother-in-law to me who is in prison. I've mentioned the sad fact that he has cancer and was scheduled for an operation, but he was arrested and so missed the operation and has not gotten any treatment.
