Cousin Deany was on Ruby's side of the family. He was a football coach (at middle school, I think). I saw him at the last family reunion, about a month ago. Ruby just saw him a day or so ago.

He died of congestive heart failure. Ruby was diagnosed with the same malady within the last few months (but, I had warned her that it was coming if she did not use her supplemental oxygen as fully as possible).

He was active, right up to the end. One of our grandchildren is on the team he was coaching.

At least he didn't die a violent death.
