Well the image shows more eyes than the average and more ears than the average...

Of course it's generic. A generic person has all of those features. How many people do you see who do not have 2 eyes, 2 ears, a nose, a mouth and some hair on top?

I certainly see some resemblance, in several of the features. Well found, O Giron.

But, look at the size of Andrew's eyes, compared to the sketch. Doesn't Thisman have larger eyes? Look where Andrew's hair ends, just above his ears; then look at the way the hair on Thisman goes lower on the face.

But, I admit I haven't opened the portraits page to see if another looks more like Andrew. If you read the dreams page, you'll note that one person says this man in his dream was mostly similar, but with a few differences. Any differences weaken the idea of identifying them together, except as an archetype.

It looks nothing like Alfred E. Neuman.

Looks similar to the Mad magazine character too - as I said pretty generic.

Now, if thousands of people had dreamt of this man before they saw him that would be waaaayyyy more impressive...

Of the portraits on the site one of them looks like my ex dentist, the others do not, I don't think there's anything to be read into the theory that it is the same man.

Now that we've seen him, we'll no doubt see him in our dreams now wooty
He's not my type;)

How can you say that?

Is this man's ethnic heritage generic, or can you tell if it is asian, african, or european?

Is his hair generic, or can you tell if it is dark or light, plentiful or thinning, a short cut or really long or medium length, straight or curly (if you look at additional pictures on the portraits page, you can get a better impression than the picture on the main page conveys)?

Are his eyebrows generic, or can you tell if they are light or dark, thin or bushy?

Is the mouth generic, or can you tell if it is broad or tiny?

He does not have the exaggerated features of a Dick Tracy character like Prune Face, but he has several features that are NOT generic, and you can't get to a generic whole after noticing that his hair is dark, straight, thin, of mecium length with a part on his left, and he has dark bushy eyebrows, a broad mouth, and European-heritage features.

If he were part of a crowd of a thousand people, and they would walk in front of you as they left single file, I'll bet you could recognize him.:)

No, never seen him.

Look here.
According to this site, hundreds of people around the world dream of this man on any given night.

[bad img]http://www.thisman.org/thisman.jpg[/bad img]
Sometimes he is silent. Sometimes, he tells you something.

Have you seen him in your dreams?

What do you think? How do you explain that so many people dream of the same man, whom they have never met?

Look on the portraits page. Do you have any doubt that these different renderings from different people are the same person?
