Today's New Toy-Meet Your Match: Google App Finds Famous Art You Look Like

The Google Arts & Culture app lets you take a selfie, then compares it to thousands of museum paintings.

Twitter users are sharing their results online, whether or not they like the results.

You can't simply upload your best-ever photo. You are supposed to take a selfie with the app and roll with however you look that particular moment; But here's a cheat: if you have a photo you like better, the app will let you flip the camera around and photograph your photo, which can be fun.

As Of 01/16, mid-morning:

The free Google Arts & Culture app has become the top app for iOS and Android as users seek out to find a photo that matches a selfie they take

Yesterday 01/15 was a major USA holiday, I. e., schools all closed, most workplaces closed, all govt offices closed, etc.,. So a large part of the population had the day off, and perhaps with all that free time on their hands, it was app play time aplenty. So the unanswerable question (but NOT to Google of course) is what age group did most of the playing around with this app.

AND YES, as easy to predict what would happen did happen, uTube has umpteen vids uploaded on this app.
