NASA Has A High Paying Job Opening For Someone To Defend Earth From [Extra Terrestrial] Aliens

This is a news article re NASA's job opening for a Planetary Protection Officer.

Attribution: Business Insider--Author: Dave Mosher--Published 08/01/17

Me here: the 'in's & out's' reported in this story, especially the duties/job description of what NASA's Planetary Protection Officer job really is are too complex for me to attempt a summary---the article's title is technically correct but also somewhat hyped.

So if you're interested, here's the URL:

I would imagine if anyone on this board feels qualified, they can apply online (and it would help enormously if you used Donald Trump as a reference even if you really have never met the man; and doing so might result in a waiver of some of the job requirements--and for all the Trump haters on this board, when you see the salary for this job (compared to what you're earning now), you might find yourself sorely tempted, conscience wise, to do that).

I could do that. I've read a lot of science fiction. Lewis, Clarke, even one by L Ron.

I think we'd all do it if we had to.
