This is not unusual. I've had CPR training including how to use a defib machine as we have one at work. If you get there quickly and are healthy
enough to keep going to the "Staying Alive" beat, you can save a life. This added to the reduction of temperature was what saved him. Broken ribs is
normally the price someone pays for being resuscitated.
I'll need to bow out of the next refresher because I know my wrists wouldn't take it any more. I could do the breaths if someone else pumped
