I'm short on time these days

I may be scarce, and soon to be scarcer.

While the schedule at the food plant said 5 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, we often were finishing the work on my production line at 1:30 to as late as 4, and then leaving.

New large orders have been coming in, and more are planned. We have been told to expect a lot of 12-hour days, and we have been working more than 8 hours on Saturday, as well.

I get pretty sore and tired. I imagine this is what a farmer feels like.

Son-in-law Jarvis [yes, like in Iron Man:D], who has not worked for many months, has been hired on to start work at the plant next week.

Since he has no car, Ruby told me they hoped I would drive him to work and drive him home, until he could buy a car. (No money for one, right now.)

That means I will have to leave home even earlier, and get back even later, since they live in another part of the city.

Formerly, I had 2 hours between getting home at 6 PM and aiming for bed at 8 PM, in which to get everything done besides work.

Ruby didn't realize the sacrifice she was asking of me--she hadn't caught on to the fact that I have been working every Saturday. And, I have been leading Divine Service at two churches nearly every Sunday as well.

Of course, I'll do it. kewl_glasses

Reminds me of the bad old days in Victorian times. Hardly progress. Is it? Join a union, Scholar. But you are an amazing person.
