GWX Control Panel Software Feedback Request Re Preventing A Win 10 OS Install

GWX Control Panel Software Feedback Request Re Preventing A Win 10 OS Install [via Windows Update activity and a "sneak" Win 10 install].

As per MajorGeeks.com: "GWX Control Panel will help to rid your system tray of the 'Get Windows 10' notification from continually popping up.

It can also prevent unintentional Windows 10 upgrades from occurring via Windows Update. GWX Control Panel really works, is safe and easy to use, and gives you the option to re-enable the icon and upgrade notifications if you're ever ready to move forward with Windows 10 in the future."

Has anyone used this program? Any negatives re its stated purpose, and what/how it actually works (to include is it really 'foolproof'?).

I'm having huge problems with the 2nd Tues of the month Win 7 Critical Updates; been going on for several months; huge number of Google hits re all manner of Update issues, and none really work re recommendations; would be really easy to get the Win 10 stuff installed!!!

I sure have it!

Works a treat, too. I use it in tandem with "I don't want Windows 10".
