My mozilla browser is not accepting cookies, and I can't get my e-mail

My e-mail told me I can't log in because my browser is not allowing cookies.

The instructions for Firefox told me to make some changes to allow cookies, and press OK. I see no "OK" anywhere to push, and it seems that the changes don't take effect without it.

I did not ask for a Mozilla update, nor did I change the cookies settings previously, but my browser window with its tabs disappeared, and I had to restart it, so I think something happened to change the program.

It says it is version 43.0.3.

You have the latest version (corresponds to what I have).

Under the "Help" tab is a submenu called "Troubleshooting Information". Try picking out what seems to be the most applicable to your current problem. Good Luck!

Thanks, I'll look there when I'm on the desktop again (I'm typing this from Ruby's laptop, which still allows me access to my e-mail, which must mean it is a accepting cookies).

This laptop is faster than the desktop, but I am not nearly as good at typing on this laptop. I am used to the full-sized keyboard with more height and contour to the keys.
