How Do I Find These Spam URLs?

I've noticed whenever I clean my history that I have two listings for a URL called http:\\www.softwareratings.info\etc..(printscreen image attached) in my tracks eraser program. These URL listings occur whenever I boot/reboot.

I presume that some program install sneaked them onto my system. I'm not getting any popup type windows from this URL, but that could be due to my 'intense' use of browser pop up settings, ad blockers, etc.,. Nonetheless, I would like to find the offending program, and either modify its options so that I don't get those URLs, or perhaps even uninstall that program.

My attempt via a Google search using "softwarerating etc." did not return any hits (zero); a paste of the URL, http:\\www.softwarerating.info\dealoftheday, got a "403" message in Firefox, and in IE "The website declined to show this webpage" message.

A file search of my system doesn't give me any hits re where these URLs are located. So my question is, how do I find out what program is spawning these two URLs?

perhaps a registry search might reveal the offender.

Really good idea, but NO JOY (zero hits). I tried as find words "softwareratings" and, separately, "software ratings".
