Confederate flag

Should this flag be banned from the South of America? I see that Sears, Amazon and eBay have placed a ban on sales.

Do you think that street names named after slave owners of the past should also be replaced?

It's part of history, as such, if we fail to learn from it, we are doomed to repeat it. A ban on sales is not going to change the way idiots use it, or think, nor is changing a street name.

Quite right, Leigh. Banning flags or renaming streets is not going to wipe out anything. People need to know their history - need to know why the streets had those names - to make sure it never happens again. Not all of our history is pleasant or painless but hopefully it is a learning curve.
