Here.

The growth in its use will exceed the fiber optic supply lines at current speed and technology.

I think a lot of internet information could be reduced considerably; people presently use it with great abandon. Back in the days of slow modems and small-memory computers, information exchange was deliberately scaled down to what was essential.

I wouldn't worry yet, some of the hyperbole in that article is a little over the top. Considering that it wasn't all that long ago that the "Copper network" had reached its limit.
