Empty cave syndrome.

I'm a sad bear tonight, our little dog had to be euthanised last week which was more upsetting than I thought possible, yet tonight sitting at the PC in the quiet I realise how empty the flat is.

Poppy was a 14 year old Scruffy Yorkshire terrier that permanently looked as if she was having a "bad hair day" A faithful friend she was always with us, an extension to my shadow on hand to share whatever the day held for us.

There is a Poppy void wherever I seem to look.

R.I.P Poppy

Sincere regards, the Bear :(

Not only your shadow. but Mermaids too, and mine if I am honest, without her, and of course Jack his Dad :) I would not have my Pepé, who has been my companion since Karl passed.

I will be honest with you Pete/Shirl, it doesn't matter what breed of pet/friend comes into your life, they bring a unique bond that stays with you xx, I only hope you can both find another faithful friend to fill her boots xxx

R.I.P Poppy, you will be remembered xxxx

Thanks DW. Poppy certainly had a uniqueness all of her own, We are decided and will be searching out another Yorkie early in the new year. :)
