If You Could......

I was sitting here thinking about the design for an armchair that I am going to adapt for comfort whilst using a computer, aka a computer chair. I was considering how all the peripherals would connect and the thought occurred to me I need a keyboard that has backlit keys (I already have that) but it would also be useful if, as they usually connect via USB, if there was also an inbuilt 4, or more, port hub to which could be connected rodents, memory sticks etc, the things that normally lie around on your desk would be readily available rather than rummaging around looking for your spearate hub whenever you needed to move something and it would also minimise the extra wires needed on the desk. I know about wireless stuff, but that is an issue with batteries etc.

So my best keyboard would be backlit with a built in hub, keys with a firm feel and, possibly, Braille indents on the keys.

What would you like if you could design summat.

I'd have a board, for the keyboard to sit on, that pivoted out, when I need it.

Easy enough to do, if my hands worked, properly.

I have a fifteen-port USB hub, which is all lit in blue, screwed to the case, on mine.

Looks like something from the USS Enterprise. :)

I'd have a device that as soon as I thought up a recipe, it would shop for it, prepare it and serve it.
