Christians in heavy-metal band successful in general market

Article here

They are definitely heavy metal.

And, by their own testimony, they are definitely Christians.

Their beliefs speak through their music, the same as other beliefs show up in lyrics by those who hold other values. And, in some cases, their fans' lives are changed for the good.

Their are a couple of video pieces in the article.

This exposure in TheBlaze might even grow their audience. (I tend more to gentler rock, these days, myself.) :D

What do you think? Are you surprised, that a Christian band would sound like that?smokin:

Why would I be surprised? If Christianity wants to have continued appeal it needs to use modern tools, technology and musical styles to reach out.

LOL! Thank you, Scholar, I now have a mental image of the nuns at my old school rocking in the aisles of the chapel !
