I want to set up my HP Photosmart C4400 All-in-One printer
It's called "all-in-one" because it also serves as a scanner and copier. The instructions clam it can be used as a stand-alone copier (that is, it
will do some kind of simple copying without the computer, by pushing a button on it).
My wife bought it for me from a pawn shop.
However, it is missing the set-up pamphlet (but not the instructions-for-use).
So, my friends with more computer knowledge than I--refresh my memory with respect to how to do the set-up. It came with a CD. Do I try the CD,
before hooking anything up? I think it is a USB cable connection-type printer. It is of the XP-Vista era.
I hope you can give me some response before I plunge in.
I have an errand to perform, and hope this thread will have helpful comments when I return. Replies from more than one person would boost my
confidence even more.
